GLIDE MASTER HIGH SECURITY 90 DEGREE SLIDING GATE
Boomgate Systems was asked if we can make a sliding gate that can turn 90 degrees. The Gate had to offer high security and be vandal proof. We immediately got to work and produced the Glide Master High Security 90o Sliding Gate. It took our development team two months to develop and build the gate. Everything for this gate had to be customized as there is no off the shelf items available. The hinges on the gate were custom designed as well as the wheels for the gate. Boomgate Systems is proud to add another quality product to our range. The new Glide Master 90o Sliding Gate is ideal for areas where you can’t use a normal sliding gate. It can be used in warehouses to create cages where swing gates are taking up valuable space and blocking up driveways. The new Glide Master 90o Sliding Gate can also be used behind roller shutter doors to create that extra security barrier. No need for specialized gate motors, this gate can be operated with normal gate motors that can be purchased off the shelf. Standard safety beams can be fitted to the gate.

Genius Vehicle Access Control | Genius™ Access Barrier
Genius Vehicle Access Control – Boomgate Systems – The Genius™ Automated Barriers are 100% locally manufactured and designed to handle a high volume of traffic and has a 100% duty cycle. The barrier is equipped with a torque motor which lifts the boom arm through a sinusoidal level system which allows the boom arm to be locked in both up and down position. All the electronic equipment is manufactured to ISO 9002 standards. The boom arm lifts up to 85º in the event of a power failure. Up to 4 tension springs can be used for counterbalancing. Left and right-hand barriers are available with round or octagonal boom arms. The boom arm can also be equipped with a curtain. The barrier requires minimum maintenance. Applications: Parking Garages. Golf or Residential Estates. Factories & Mines. Industrial and Commercial use. Any application where vehicles need to be controlled.

Scorpion® Spike Barriers | Boomgate Systems
Boomgate Systems: Scorpion® Spike Barriers – flush mount and surface mount, single direction spike barriers. Designed for use in high-security vehicle control applications were ongoing vehicle theft occurs through an exit only passage. The application of the surface mount barrier is necessary on parking bay levels where the slab may not be penetrated due to potential structural damage. This makes it necessary to apply a barrier mounted to the surface. The single direction traffic flow spike barrier is designed to control traffic flow in one direction. Application: To control traffic flow in one direction and disable tyres travelling in wrong directions. The Single Direction Manual Spikes is suitable for shopping malls, airports, office blocks, casino’s etc. Where single directional traffic flow is required. The High Security “Road Spike” Barrier is 100% locally manufactured and designed to handle high volumes of traffic and has a 100% duty cycle.
The barrier and “Road Spike” are driven via two independent single-phase torque motors with an operating speed of one second for the “Road Spike” and 2.5 -6 seconds for the barrier arm. The spikes will only rise after the barrier has passed through a 30° on the closing cycle. The spike barrier is designed to offer protection in both directions on entry and exit. The compact design allows for the minimum of excavation work and simplifies the installation.
The spike barrier can be configured in the following ways: boom stays down on power failure and spikes remain up, or boom opens on power failure and spike will lower on power failure. Warrior™ Hydraulic Bollard | Boomgate Systems
Our Hydraulic Bollard Road Blockers can be used to control vehicles in either one way or two-way configurations and is specifically designed to interface with our extensive range of access control security systems, remote manned operation or open/close vehicle loop detectors. The ‘red’ traffic light is illuminated while the Hydraulic Bollard is in its active position. The ‘green’ light only being illuminated once the Hydraulic Bollard is fully retracted. As the vehicle passes on to the safety/closing induction loop, the light will change to red signalling the next vehicle to stop.
The Hydraulic Bollard can be lowered manually in the event of a power failure. Furthermore, the Hydraulic Bollard can operate with a comprehensive range of cabinet mounted key switches for Emergency Service or site-specific operational requirements.
